„We are coming“ strongly protested against the decisions that were taken in the parliamentary Legal Committee, directed against the fairness of the vote and against the rights of Bulgarians. According to the civic movement, this foolish night in Parliament has set us back many days, and everyone should be aware that the coalition between BSP, MRF and GERB still insists that corruption rules Bulgaria.
„Their disciplined voting removed the Public Council of the Central Election Commission because obviously free citizens will be looking at the hands of their party appointees. They made it difficult or impossible for Bulgarians abroad to vote, and for their representatives to be elected in the District „Abroad“, in spite of the patriotism they often tout, and in spite of the census results, which proved the number of Bulgarians living abroad. One of the achievements of the parliaments after the protests was crossed out with a big corrupt line, because turning the machines into a superfluous object opens the doors wide for corruption again,„, „We are coming“ also commented, adding that to corrupt a few hundred thousand votes you need money and a mechanism to make it happen. In order to take advantage of these votes in the name of power, you then have to return the favor to the one from whom you took the money. Thus, corruption in the administration is guaranteed even before the elections have come.
The press centre of the movement wrote in a statement to the media:
„Corruption is guaranteed with the votes of GERB, MRF and BSP. Everyone should know this when they talk about parties of change and parties of the past. The BSP’s attempts at mimicry are now redundant. In the last parliament the salvation was called Krum Zarkov. There is no salvation in this Parliament.“
„Today’s situation came about because of the short-sighted policy of the parties of change, which remained in the minority, and because of the revengeist policy of the parties of corruption under the Borissov regime. Today, a pathetic comedy is being played out again, in which MPs are opening the door for the forged protocols and ballots released in bunches, and the „good“ Borissov is asking them not to be so extreme. Is there anyone else to believe in this pathetic circus? We will support any protest that protects the hard-won rights of citizens.“
„The perversion of taking power by deceit always has an end and if those who are in the National Assembly do not understand it themselves, we will explain it to them again from the squares. This is the real choice before the deputies who have to vote on the changes in the Electoral Code on second reading.
