The Central Election Commission has decided not to allow the Civic Platform Bulgarian Summer until the elections on November 14. This was revealed in a post on the social network Facebook by the political force. They shall also indicate why this decision was taken:
“Because the state, in the person of the caretaker ministers, committed obvious and illegal discrimination against the party and all our supporters. Despite all our efforts to be neat in the documentation. Despite the thousands of signatures we submitted, the CEC refused to allow us into the race. The reason for the refusal is the lack of a bank account.”
Following Decision 441 / 04.06.2021 of the Council of Ministers, in which everyone was ordered to terminate relations with the party immediately, the BNB issued mandatory instructions to commercial banks, as a result of which the opening of a party bank account is practically impossible.
This decision is illegal, unconstitutional and discriminatory, they are categorical from „Bulgarian Summer“. The political force said:
“Obviously, our existence as a political entity instills fear among the new, old and“ honest „candidates for deputies. But we will not give up! The Civic Platform Bulgarian Summer unites and represents the political views of thousands of its supporters in the struggle for a better, developing, modern and democratic Bulgaria. That is why we firmly declare that we will uphold our principles and seek justice.”
