President Rumen Radev stated that with its activities the specialized justice does not give solid arguments in its defense, on the contrary. He added:
“Over the years, we have all witnessed crushed pre-trial proceedings by special justice, the refusal of pre-trial proceedings in landmark cases, the persecution of political and business inconvenient people. So there are simply no arguments for defense.”
According to the head of state, the situation is complicated, but the most important thing is that our sailors return home alive and well.
“We are working hard on this issue. Let’s leave the comments when it’s a fact.”
Radev also commented on the question of whether the coalition will remain stable:
“Bulgarians expect the parties in the coalition to show that they can unite in the name of the national interest and solve the problems of the Bulgarians. There are many of them, active work is needed and I think that if clear results are shown in response to the people’s problems, the coalition will not have a problem.”
Asked if he was running for the Electronic Media Council, the president said:
“Of course. You will learn it in due time.”
