A woman was found dead in the port of the Chengene Skele Cultural and Tourist Complex, which is part of a fishing village near Bourgas, a source told Iskra.bg. According to unconfirmed information from the police, the deceased was an english woman, and her body was found on the evening of December 25.
From Iskra.bg we tried to contact ODMVR-Burgas for comment, but to no avail.
Locals say that she arrived with a younger man from England on vacation in our country. They traveled by camper and stayed in the port of the tourist complex. On the fateful night, the Englishwoman was found stabbed in the vehicle. Her husband reported it to police after seeing his wife’s lifeless body. He was detained and questioned by police, but was later released and left with his camper.
People we spoke to said that the woman’s body was kept next to the vehicle for about 3 hours while the crime scene was inspected, and the port was also closed for several hours. Our source claims that one of the versions about the death of the Englishwoman is suicide.
A probable reason for not making the case public is the Christmas bazaars, which are visited by many tourists at the same time, so as not to overshadow their festive mood.
However, several questions arise here:
– Why did the Municipality of Burgas not terminate the Christmas Bazaar in the presence of death in the port of the Cultural and Tourist Complex „Chengene Scaffolding“?
– Why is the death of the foreign citizen not reflected in the police bulletin?
