Citizens assessed the government’s performance at the end of its term by a Fair (3.26) grade. This shows a study by “Mediana” agency. It was made between February 22 and 26 and covered 943 people over the age of 18.
Only one-fifth of the respondents want GERB to rule in some form after the April 4 parliamentary elections. More than half of the respondents want a change of government without the participation of GERB. However, the poll shows that the protest vote is scattered. The center of attraction for most of the „votes for change“ is the formation of Slavi Trifonov. According to a number of political scientists and sociologists, it will be the surprise of the election.
One month before the election, GERB increased its distance with its main political opponent and led the BSP by 3.3%. According to the survey, 4 parties will certainly enter the parliament if the vote was today – GERB, BSP, „There is such a people“ and MRF. There are so many more formations next to the barrier – „Democratic Bulgaria“, „Stand up! Get out!”, IMRO, the NFSB and „VOLIA“ coalition.
The declared readiness to participate in the elections also seems high. 61 percent of those polled say they will vote, and only 22 percent are hesitant. A factor for this is the discovery of a vaccine against coronavirus and the start of vaccination in our country.
