The majority of parties in the National Assembly condemned the behavior and statements of „Vazrazhdane“ and its leader Kostadin Kostadinov.
„Vazrazhdane“ issued a declaration from the rostrum of the parliament, in which they indicated that a war was being waged against them and defined the rulers as „neo-fascists“.
BSP and „There is such a people“ saw extremism in the actions of „Vazrazhdane“, and DPS stated that they had long taken their negative attitude towards the behavior of this party.
Boyko Borisov condemned the language of hatred coming from „Vazrazhdane“ and denied interaction between GERB and Kostadin Kostadinov’s formation.
Kornelia Ninova also spoke quite harshly about „Vazrazhdane“, stating that the party has „extreme extremist, fascist manifestations to some extent“.
„It is unacceptable in modern Bulgaria for a party to announce and prevent a freely elected representative from going to the podium and speaking,“ she said, recalling the case of Angel Bozhankov from the beginning of the month, when the deputy from “We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria” was not allowed to the tribune in the parliament.
“There is such a People” deputy Stanislav Balabanov described „Vazrazhdane“ as an “extremely aggressive populist party” whose goal is to get a few more deputies into the next parliament.
Mustafa Karadai also recalled that the DPS has always condemned any calls for opposition, aggression and hatred in society.
The leader of the party, Kostadin Kostadinov, for his part, again stated that, in his opinion, provocations and clashes are being prepared in the country. He called on Bulgarian citizens to be vigilant and not allow our society to be divided.
