Inflation in our country has been largely contained. This was assured to „BNT“ by Caretaker Minister of Economy Nikola Stoyanov. According to him, this is due to the stabilization of energy prices. For this reason, after the peak of inflation in September, Stoyanov expects better results in October.
Moreover, he called for the electricity compensation for businesses to continue until the end of next year 2023. This is because Bulgarian companies need to be competitive, not just to be helped. This is possible because other countries are supporting their businesses.
That is why Bulgaria should continue to do so and in this way our companies will have a chance to gain market share in many different markets. Stoyanov even predicted that the world is about to be restructured economically.
At the same time, the Caretaker Minister is adamant that compensation should not be paid to all companies, but only to those in which the price of electricity forms a significant part of their costs of production. Because there are companies that use more expensive electricity, but the prices of their goods have also risen on international markets and thus they are actually making some excess profits.
