The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is ready with a package of legislative proposals related to an effective mechanism for investigating the Prosecutor General and his deputies, outgoing Justice Minister Nadezhda Yordanova said.
She pointed out that this would improve the pre-trial proceedings. The Justice Minister stated:
„Our country has had a serious problem for years, described in the “Kolevi v. Bulgaria” case, with the lack of an opportunity for the Prosecutor General to be investigated.“
