The man arrested as the perpetrator of the attempted arson of the company base of well-known public figure Emil Peychev in Tsarevo has already been charged by the Prosecutor’s Office. This was reported to Iskra.bg by the victim.
The accused’s name is Mariyan Sekulov. In July of last year, he set fire to one of the company cars at Peychev’s production base in Tsarevo. Evidence has been collected for this. Fortunately, the fire extinguished itself 10 minutes later, otherwise the damage could have been huge. They are estimated at about BGN 90,000.
There was another car next to this car. In addition, there was also a motorboat nearby, filled with 120 liters of gasoline. All this could have led to serious consequences and the building could also catch fire.
Emil Peychev revealed to Iskra.bg that Sekulov himself has a business similar to his, but on a much smaller scale. Therefore, he does not consider him a competitor. However, apparently for Mariyan Sekulov, things look different.
This is not the first attempt to attack Peychev. He told Iskra.bg that two years ago the perpetrator of the arson attempted to run over him and his family in the sea. Mariyan Sekulov himself was in a boat. He was also then charged with threatening to kill. Proceedings in the case are pending.
„He really doesn’t stop. Two years later, he is trying to set fire to my base and harm my business,“, Emil Peychev commented.
He got acquainted with the materials of the case, in which it was stated that this was an arson attempt, since it did not take place, because the fire extinguished itself.
