The Poison Trio announced that they will organize a new type of demonstration on Thursday, after announcing yesterday that they are suspending their evening protests in their current form. The reason they pointed out – the difficult situation around the spread of COVID-19 in our country.
For November 5, citizens are planned to gather in front of the Council of Ministers with old shoes of Bulgarians who left the country and sought a livelihood abroad. Their demands remain the same, the most important being for the resignation of the government and Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev. The organizers commented on Facebook:
„Let us remind the junta of the 2,000,000 Bulgarians who fled! From 12:00 on Thursday until the end of the day – throw your old shoes in front of the door of the Council of Ministers. If you can’t come to the square – send them by courier. Maybe personally to Boyko Borisov at Sofia 1569, 1 Alexander Dondukov Blvd.
At the moment, the „Poison Trio“ do not reveal what their other demonstrations will be, but note:
“We will keep you informed of every civil action we take to do it together. Follow the page of the Poison Trio and the media, which tend to cover the protest initiatives. We will continue touring the country and forming committees. We continue to recruit volunteers from all over the country and abroad. We will continue the revelations about the power of the mafia. We will continue our joint work to protect the votes of Bulgarian citizens.”
