The „Poison Trio“ announced that the door is open for a broad civic coalition against the government of Boyko Borissov. An agreement in principle has already been reached with the formation of Maya Manolova „Stand Up.BG“.
„After the announcement of the earliest possible date for the parliamentary elections by the president, the Poison Trio and the Citizens continued even more informal talks with democratic forces and associations for the upcoming vote. Our main goal remains the continuation of the protests and the overthrow of the government of Boyko Borissov „, the organizers of the protests announced and added:
„We can safely say that there is a growing willingness to work together to ensure the fairness of elections and ensure independent observation in order to protect the right of every Bulgarian citizen to vote freely. We have also taken a step forward in our declared desire to run together in the forthcoming elections, in order to end the one-man regime.
“An agreement has already been reached in principle with the civil platform “Stand Up.BG” and an agreement is to be signed.“
The Poison Trio also said it was still looking for a political expression of the general protest against the system. Therefore, they would continue to work for understanding. The doors remained open, not only as a pre-election model, but also as a lasting desire for joint action to put Bulgaria back on the foundations of democracy, the rule of law and modern economic development.
