Deletion of the registration of Vazrajdane Party and its dissolution – this was initiated by the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office (SGP) before the Sofia City Court (SCC) through a procedure under Article 40, paragraph 1, item 1 of the Law on Political Parties.

Based on its powers under the procedure for supervision of legality and in connection with a signal received from 04.06.2020 for established violations in the activities of Vazrazhdane National Park, the Civil Judicial Supervision Department at SGP has appointed an inspection under the procedure of 145, para 1, item 3 of the Judiciary Act (JSA).
The preliminary inspection revealed a number of violations related to the registration of Vazrazhdane Nature Park, namely:
- Declaring false data on the presence of at least 500 citizens with voting rights at the Constituent Assembly of the party;
- It has been established that as of the date of the Constituent Assembly there are data for 86 persons who were outside the territory of the country and are registered as founders;
- 108 of the persons whose names appear on declarations as founders (580 in total) stated that the signatures in the lists were not theirs. 87 persons stated that they had not signed a Declaration of Individual Membership under the Law on Political Parties;
- Another 120 persons stated that they had not attended the Constituent Assembly of the Vazrazhdane National Park at all;
- For two persons there are completed declarations for individual membership, which are also signed as participants in the Constituent Assembly, held on 02.08.2014. From certified transcripts of death certificates it was found that they died in June 2014.
After the materials from the file were collected in the Sofia City Court, a statement of claim for filing a case was prepared and submitted. A date is yet to be set. It will be considered in open court with the summons of the interested parties.
