The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bulgaria are 457. This is shown by the latest data from the National Operational Headquarters. So far, 10 people have died from the infection, and 25 people have been hospitalized and discharged after hospital treatment.
The new laboratory-proven cases are 8, all in Sofia. The laboratories are still working, continuing to examine samples taken today.
There are 179 persons with confirmed COVID-19, who are hospitalized under medical conditions, and 18 of them are treated in intensive care units.
In terms of the overall picture, by April 2: 258 of the COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria were diagnosed in men, and the remaining 199 in women.
The registered cases by administrative districts are as follows: Blagoevgrad – 14; Bourgas – 20; Varna – 23; Veliko Tarnovo – 3; Vidin – 1; Gabrovo – 2; Dobrich – 10; Kardzhali – 7; Kyustendil – 6; Lovech – 1; Montana – 18; Pazardzhik – 8; Pernik – 6; Pleven – 9; Plovdiv – 27; Ruse – 1; Silistra – 2; Sliven – 5; Smolyan – 11; Sofia – 274; Stara Zagora – 3; Haskovo – 2; Shumen – 4.
The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in medical personnel – 20 persons, remains unchanged.
