Slavi Trifonov reviewed the biography of Hristo Ivanov from „Democratic Bulgaria“ (DB) in his post on social networks. The reason is today’s statement of Ivanov, in which he commented on the nominated ministers from „There is such a people“.
Here is what Trifonov wrote, presenting a hypothetical version of the current events:
If „There is such a people“ had nominated Hristo Ivanov for Prime Minister, from „Democratic Bulgaria“ and the circle around them would have said the following:
“Oh, no – it doesn’t work! Hristo Ivanov’s father was a member of the Bulgarian Communist Party. Hristo Ivanov’s mother was also a member of the Bulgarian Communist Party. She is also known for a rally at which she gave a fiery speech in defense of Ahmed Dogan, who, in our opinion, is leading the government of Slavi Trifonov today.
Hristo Ivanov was a construction worker, graduated in law, but it is not known that he worked as a lawyer and it is not known that he had clients.
In fact, he was registered as a lawyer in 2002, but due to non-payment of membership fees in the Sofia Bar Association he was fined several times and was deprived of the right to practice law.
Later, his only job was to work in non-governmental foundations and organizations.
In 2014, Hristo Ivanov became acting Minister and Deputy Prime Minister in the cabinet of Professor Georgi Bliznashki, a prominent representative of the Library Circle, which in our opinion today forms the government of Slavi Trifonov.
Then he became a minister of Boyko Borissov, who is a „mutra“ and „part of the mafia“, in the words of Hristo Ivanov himself. Words uttered by Ivanov before he agreed to be Borissov’s minister. After he became Borissov’s minister, Hristo Ivanov said that these were ridiculous things, he used a square language and worked with Messrs. Borisov and Tsvetanov absolutely collegiality.
Later, Hristo Ivanov participated in secret meetings to form a new political project. The basis of the meetings is the businessman Ivo Prokopiev, who is considered a personnel officer and lobbyist in several ministerial councils. The meetings are also attended by a number of contemporary journalists and analysts, who today spread Slavi Trifonov on the Internet that someone is ordering his government.
Later, Hristo Ivanov became one of the main culprits for the split of the right. A split that leaves all right-wing parties out of parliament for four years.
So, if they like, „There are such people“ to change the candidate for prime minister and propose another one.”
