„From hand to hand, as they say in in the countryside. Half or a million can fit in the pockets of a jacket.”
This was announced at a press conference in Dubai by businessman Vasil Bozhkov after a question about how exactly he gave bribes to Boyko Borissov, Vladislav Goranov and Sevdelina Arnaudova. He stressed that an investigative experiment could even be carried out.
„Boyko Borisov called me. Then he sent me to Menda. Then Vladi sent me, who explained to me exactly how I should give them. How exactly they divided the money, whether they divided it, I can’t know.“, Bozhkov added.
The conversation with Borissov took place in Boyana, and he was told that things would be fixed, but help had to be given:
„Otherwise you know!“
He was also told this, which Bozhkov did not know exactly what it meant. The bribes were given as follows – Goranov was given 20% of the profits from the business, and Arnaudova was given smaller amounts.
Bozhkov also stressed that he was ready to return to Bulgaria. However, the Prosecutors’s Office created obstacles.
„If Interpol removes the red dot, I will return to Bulgaria the very next day.“, the businessman said. He added:
„I don’t know what Rashkov is talking about. I can’t be an OCG with Borissov, and if I were, I wouldn’t be in Dubai. When you complain that you are hurt, they take you to an organized crime group. I complained 2 years ago. My signal is in the Prosecutor’s Office. I have nothing to do with what happened in Bulgaria.“
The signal that Bozhkov submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office also mentioned the names of Kiril Domuschiev, as well as Valeri Simeonov, who, according to him, was carrying out orders from GERB. He also clarified that the European Prosecutor’s Office contacted him on March 8.
„In principle, I have not said anything new. The first signal is how I have been blackmailed and extorted for 4-5 years and I have not had the opportunity to resist. The threats were that if I did not do what they wanted, my business would be destroyed, as it eventually was. I am not a criminal and I want to return to Bulgaria. All the accusations against me are fabricated.„, he said.
Bozhkov also spoke about the BGN 500 million, which were allegedly not paid into the state budget by him. He pointed out that politicians were served by this in one direction or another.
In addition, Bozhkov was adamant that he had given enough information to the Bulgarian Prosecutor’s Office, but they disappeared. If there was anyone to examine them, Borissov would be in prison.
„Sevda has admitted that she came into my office every month. I went to Goranov very often, as he himself admitted. Everyone has admitted. „Boyko has admitted, Vladi has admitted, Sevda has admitted.„, he added.
