For a year now, businesses have been pushing for a measure to support a sharp drop in sales. This was announced to „BNT“ by Chairman of the Industrial Capital Association in Bulgaria Vasil Velev.
He stressed that the current situation has come about because businesses are constrained and at the same time costs are going up. And so, instead of the measure being introduced in the summer, which is being introduced only now, this time, according to him, has been missed.
Velev said that there were people who did PR instead of doing development and that is why now a number of sectors are facing a severe crisis and even bankruptcies.
For his part, CITUB leader Plamen Dimitrov announced that households are increasingly facing a hole with rising prices. He pointed as an example the drastic increase in the price of oil.busi
He is adamant that people should be compensated for all this and at the same rate. According to him, the CITUB was aware that this would not be easy for employers and that is why they agree that business should be supported by the state.
Velev also said that they were of the opinion that the „Green Certificate“ was a better option than a full closure.
