Vice President Iliana Yotova honored the memory of the great bulgarian Vasil Levski by laying flowers at his monument in Sofia. She commented that today many words are superfluous.
Yotova said that she is one of the people who not only today, but also every time they pass by the monument of the Apostle of Freedom, look into his eyes. According to her, this is what every Bulgarian citizen should do. In addition, people must be commensurate with the image of Vasil Levski and with what he has left as a testament for future generations.
According to the vice president, 148 years after the hanging of the Apostle, his covenant has not yet been fulfilled. Yotova stressed that we have freedom, but the question of internal freedom remains. It’s about how strong we are, how much his work is above all. It is also very important to what extent we have allowed worthy Bulgarians to rule us, because this is essential for us to be equal with the European nations.
The Vice President also stressed that we live in a presence that is very important what will be the way tha Bulgaria goes.
