„We continue the change“ will categorically insist that the candidate for the new prime minister be Asen Vassilev. This was revealed by the MP from the PP parliamentary group, Radoslav Rybarski. He announced that both the group and the National Council have united around this opinion.

For the time being, it is clear that the BSP is of the position that the prime minister should be nominated by the largest party, that is, by „We continue the change“. No names had yet been discussed at the meeting yesterday. Today, Hristo Ivanov also confirmed that they will support Asen Vasilev for Prime Minister, because they have already done so once during the first mandate. But the position of the fourth party in the negotiations is still not clear, and it is „There is such a people“, and they are a necessary partner in order to collect 121 parliamentary votes and for the new cabinet to have a stable parliamentary majority.

Ribarski also confirmed that „We continue the change“ continue to insist that their proposals for new functions of the Commission for Combating Corruption and Confiscation of Illegally Acquired Property be supported, as well as that Boyko Rashkov be elected as its head. They want all this to happen while negotiations are underway to form a new government.

The MP from „We continue the change“ is optimistic that an agreement can be reached with „There is such a people“, although they have reservations about both the candidacy of Boyko Rashkov and those of Asen Vasilev and Kiril Petkov.
