“The status quo does not believe what is happening to him, because he is used to outrage through judges, appointed people. Now they do not have a specific enemy, but the whole Bulgarian people, who are the concessionaires here on the beach and we have come to clean it.”
This is what Tanya Stoyanova from Burgas commented to a journalist of Iskra.bg. She took part in uprooting the turf on Rosenets Beach near Ahmed Dogan’s barns. Today, citizens, united by the Organization for the Protection of Bulgarian Citizens, gathered to clean the ryegrass, which experts claim was planted on purpose, with the aim of again restricting access to the beach.
“If the institutions do not pay attention to the initiative, people will pay attention. All of Bulgaria is currently watching – through Facebook, through all free media, journalists. Everyone supports us, because this is about Bulgarian dignity. It is not a question of one building or one beach”, added Stoyanova.
Stoyan Atanasov also took part in the action. He noted that he came because he was tired of „making us idiots.“ And he said:
“It was a hotel, not a retaining wall”, “It wasn’t a beach, it was a field.” „How long will they make us idiots? And we allow it because we are inactive.“
Atanasov doubts that the institutions will take any measures on the issue.
We remind you that a few days ago activists visited the beach and found that it was „disguised“ as a lawn. They immediately filed a complaint with the responsible institutions on the issue.
At the same time, in his appeal to the court, the designer of the so-called Dogansarai arch. Kalin Tiholov is challenging the decision to enter in the cadastre the strip next to the property as a beach. However, the OZBG claims that the grass was artificially planted to show that the base of the terrain is not sand but soil. There is a merging of personal interests, institutions, politicians and all this is to the detriment of Bulgaria. The case with this beach is another example of an attempt to seize Bulgarian territory and the lack of interest of the institutions.
