„Middle European Class“ political party is part of the coalition “We Continue the Change” and I would like you to know the reasons why we reached this partnership, said in a statement interim Chairman of the party Konstantin Bachiyski.
The truth is that these negotiations were the easiest and shortest I have ever had. I would not even define them as negotiations, but as a conversation between like-minded people. In this case we did not have to discuss any conditions, because we have many points of contact and common goals with Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev, so it was logical to shake hands.
We have no expectations for positions, because for me and my colleagues politics is a tool for solving social problems, for working for the benefit of society, not a profession. Our only requirement was to participate in decision-making and not to compromise with our principles and morals.
And since they ask me „Why with you and why with all of you?„, I would like to share that Kiril Petkov and I have known each other for years, but the important thing in this case is that we share the same values and strive for the same goals.
Even in 2020, we were on the same side of the barricade during the protests in Rosenets against the atrocities around the „sheds“, we supported each other in our work on various public causes, such as the case of „Coral“.We both unconditionally believe in the potential of our country.
My colleagues from „Middle European Class“ and I accept the invitation for partnership as a recognition of the meaning of our political battles against corrupt practices in Burgas. As a guarantee that the fight against corruption in the country will continue.
This is also a signal that when we say „Enough outrages„ because of corruption, we will no longer be alone, but there will be many more honest Bulgarians who will join our efforts.
For us, joining the coalition „We continue the change“ is a clear sign that the creation of a middle class in Bulgaria is already a really important priority, behind which stand more and more responsible, proactive and independent people.
