Most likely, a government will be formed, suggested sociologist Kancho Stoychev on the occasion of the consultations of „There is such a people“ political party with „Democratic Bulgaria“, „Stand up BG! We are coming „, BSP and MRF. In the air of „bTV“ he pointed out that it was important for them to understand three things – „the previous model of government was rejected twice, there will most likely be a government, because none of the players is interested in new elections and there is nothing wrong to have a government controlled by parliament.“
The parties in parliament will find common ground, political PR Nidal Algafari believes. According to him, they should learn not to say „never„, „because when they swore and explained that they would not be with so-and-so, it turned out that they had to be with so-and-so„. According to him, this includes the MRF and the BSP, because without them there is no way to form a government.
„Until recently, everyone claimed that the model for disintegration was GERB-MRF, and now they have taken out the MRF and started negotiations with them.“
It is normal for there to be denial during the election campaign, and then comes political pragmatism and logic, political analyst Rosen Stoyanov added.
Until now, there has been a greater focus on the composition of the future cabinet, while we are currently witnessing political talks, Stoychev said. He gave the example of „scratching„, which cannot be the basis of a government. According to him, we need a positive program with an emphasis on economics.
There are points of contact between parliamentary parties, Algafari said. According to him, at the moment they are united around the rejection of the previous government, but others will appear. Governance does not happen only with ministers, he insisted and clarified – there are district governors, directors of directorates and other large units.
„The problem that will arise for ordinary people in Bulgaria is that when they receive support from one of the three parties of the status quo, it will always remain bitter in the mouth.„, Algafari said.
The parliamentary parties will unite around 3 topics – the Recovery and Development Plan, the presidential elections and the 2022 Budget, Stoyanov said. He is skeptical of forming a stable cabinet when it comes to floating majorities. According to him, GERB themselves are becoming outsiders, refusing dialogue.
