„The constitutional majority is important and it makes sense for the MRF to review its decision,“, Yordan Ivanov, MP from „We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria“, said.
„Personally, I find it wise not to blow up the whole situation in Parliament in the course of these negotiations and this delicate search for a constitutional majority. This is a move that realizes that. Implementing constitutional reform by its very nature we know has to be voted on with people who are likely to be affected by it. This expresses the high complexity of the situation in which we find ourselves. We are not magicians; we have 63 Members of Parliament. If we had 160, we would vote boldly and without such levels of dialogue, but from now on we have to look for the majority in question – this is a priority,“, the MP told.
„According to the Bulgarian legislation, „against“ and „abstained“ are the same thing,“, Ivanov stressed. He demanded an explanation from „Vazrazhdane“ and asked GERB why they made Delyan Peevski a member of the Constitutional Commission yesterday.
The „We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria“ MP pointed out that they have no change in their assessment of the management of GERB and MRF in the past. According to him, if this continues, it will only catalyze the problems in the current government.
Ivanov said that the „We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria“ is worried that the provocations will continue in the Bulgarian parliament. According to him, if the important tasks before the government do not happen, they are ready to resign.
„First of all, the government should revise Rumen Radev’s official cabinet,“, the MP pointed out.
